What K-Duo Carafe Error Means

Specific to K-Duo and K-Duo Plus. The brewer can't detect the glass carafe on its base, or you've selected carafe brew with the carafe missing. Brewer will not start carafe-side brew.

  • Carafe side won't brew
  • Indicator flashes when carafe is selected
  • Single-cup side works normally

How to Fix It

  1. Place the carafe centered on the warming plate
  2. Confirm the ground-coffee basket and filter are in place with coffee added
  3. Fill the reservoir to the carafe MAX line
  4. Select the cup count (6, 8, 10, or 12 cups)
  5. Press the carafe brew button
  6. If error persists, unplug for 5 minutes and retry
