How to fix it

  1. Unplug the microwave for 5 minutes.
  2. Remove cabinet and locate the cooling fan motor.
  3. Spin the fan blade by hand — it should rotate freely.
  4. Clean any grease buildup from the blade and housing.
  5. Reseat the fan motor harness.
  6. With power restored (use caution), start a cook cycle and confirm fan runs.
