How to Fix It

  1. Unplug for 5 minutes and retest.
  2. Pull the dispenser/UI housing from the door front (usually 2-4 screws under a cover).
  3. Reseat all ribbon cables and connectors on the UI board.
  4. Inspect the door-to-cabinet wiring loom through the hinge for chafing.
  5. Replace the dispenser UI assembly if reseating does not clear F2E1.
  6. Replace the main control if a known-good UI still throws the code.
