AC — / AE — Communication Error Between Boards

How to fix it
- Unplug the dryer for 10 minutes.
- Remove the top panel and locate the ribbon between the UI and main board.
- Disconnect and reseat the ribbon — inspect for bent or corroded pins.
- Power up and test. If AC clears, you're done.
- If AC returns, swap the UI board first (more common failure point).
- If still present after UI swap, replace the main control board.
