How to fix it

  1. Clean the lint filter and the filter housing.
  2. Disconnect the duct and clean it fully out to the exterior vent with a brush kit.
  3. Replace crushed flexible duct with rigid/semi-rigid duct; confirm the outside flap opens.
  4. Run the Vent Check (Smart Check) again to confirm it clears.
