The control board is reading excess ambient temperature in its own compartment. Usually a cooling/airflow problem rather than a board defect.

How to fix it

  1. Let the oven cool completely before testing.
  2. Confirm the cooling fan spins freely and runs during bake — replace if open or seized.
  3. Clear any blocked oven vent (see C-24).
  4. For built-in wall ovens, verify the cutout meets Samsung's required clearance per the install manual.
  5. Inspect cavity insulation behind the control panel for displacement.
  6. If airflow and fan are good and the code returns, replace the main control board.
