Samsung Oven C-d0 — Stuck Key / Touch Panel Error

Samsung Oven · Error code C-d0

What C-d0 Means

The control board detects that a button (key) on the touch panel is pressed continuously, or there is a short on the touch display. Often caused by a wet, dirty, or physically stuck control panel.

Symptoms

  • Oven beeps and shows C-d0
  • Touch panel unresponsive or randomly triggering
  • Oven will not start cycle
  • Code returns after power cycle

Common Causes

1
Liquid or grease behind touch panel

Spill or steam migrated under glass and is bridging a button trace.

2
Physically stuck key/membrane

Membrane switch behind a button has failed in the closed position.

3
Failed touch display/control panel assembly

Display PCB itself is shorted and reports a key press that isn't happening.

4
Damaged ribbon cable to main PCB

Pinched or oxidized ribbon between display board and main control.

How to Fix It

  1. Press CANCEL/OFF and try to clear the code.
  2. Wipe the entire touch panel with a barely-damp microfiber, dry thoroughly, and let it air out 30+ minutes.
  3. Power-cycle the oven at the breaker for 5 minutes, then restore power.
  4. If code returns, remove the rear panel and reseat the ribbon cable between the touch display and main PCB.
  5. Inspect the touch display PCB for moisture, corrosion, or burn marks.
  6. Replace the touch panel / display assembly if the code persists with a clean, dry panel.
