Ct oP (shown as "CtoP") is a temporary message that the cooktop is in use or still hot, which blocks the Self Clean cycle from starting. It is not a fault — let the cooktop cool, then start Self Clean.

How to fix it

  1. Confirm every cooktop knob/burner is OFF.
  2. Wait for all hot surface indicators to clear (typically 10-30 minutes after the last use).
  3. Try Self Clean again.
  4. If 'C to P' returns with the cooktop fully cool and off, the cooktop temperature sensor or main control board is faulty — service required.
