How to fix it

  1. Stop using the oven until repaired.
  2. Cut power at the breaker and let the cavity cool.
  3. Test the temperature sensor (~1080 ohms at room temp); replace if out of spec.
  4. Inspect and clear the oven vent.
  5. Test elements for short to ground; replace if shorted.
  6. If sensor and elements check out, replace the main control board (relay stuck closed).

Typical signs: E-0A on display, heat shuts off · Oven runs hotter than setpoint · Repeats on retry · May trip thermal fuse
