How to fix it

  1. Power off at the breaker before working inside.
  2. Locate and unplug the oven temperature sensor.
  3. Measure resistance — should be roughly 1080 ohms at room temp; >2950 ohms confirms an open sensor.
  4. Replace the sensor if open.
  5. Inspect the harness end-to-end for breaks if a new sensor still reads open at the PCB.
