What PC CH Means

Symptoms

  • PC CH cycling on display
  • Door panel intermittently dark
  • Buttons unresponsive

Common Causes

Intermittent harness contact

Connector seated but with corroded or bent pins.

Boards de-synced; power cycle usually clears it.

Door sub-PCB failing

Marginal communication chip.

How to Fix It

  1. Unplug for 5 minutes; plug back in.
  2. Open and inspect the door-to-cabinet harness; reseat both ends.
  3. Look for corrosion or bent pins; clean with electronics contact cleaner.
  4. If error persists after reseating, swap or replace the door sub-PCB.
  5. Replace the main PCB if the door board doesn't resolve it.
