How to fix it

  1. Run a cleaning cycle with a dishwasher cleaner to remove film from the OWI sensor.
  2. Disconnect power and access the sump area.
  3. Inspect and reseat the thermistor/OWI connector.
  4. Test thermistor resistance with a multimeter (should be ~50K ohms at room temperature).
  5. Replace the OWI/thermistor assembly if out of spec.
