How to fix it

  1. Clean the dishwasher filter and sump area.
  2. Disconnect drain hose from disposal/air gap and check for blockage.
  3. If newly installed, verify the disposal knockout plug was removed.
  4. Test drain pump for ~50-200 ohms resistance.
  5. Replace the drain pump if defective.
