How to fix it

  1. Unplug the unit.
  2. Remove the rear lower access panel.
  3. Vacuum dust and pet hair from the condenser coils and fan blade.
  4. Spin the fan by hand; replace if stiff or noisy.
  5. Test the harness for continuity and proper voltage on the next start-up.
  6. Replace the condenser fan motor if dead; replace the main board if the motor and wiring are good.
