PF — Power failure

The dishwasher lost AC power during a cycle. After power is restored, PF is displayed so the user can confirm and restart.

How to fix it

  1. Press Cancel/Drain to clear PF and the cycle, then restart.
  2. Check the breaker — reset if tripped.
  3. If it trips again, look for water damage in the junction box at the bottom of the door.
  4. If PF returns without any outage, retighten the line connections at the dishwasher and at the breaker.

Why it happens

Typical signs: PF blinking on power-up · Cycle interrupted mid-run · Appears after a brownout or breaker trip

  • Utility power outage Outage long enough for the board to clear state.
  • Tripped breaker or GFCI Shared kitchen circuit overloaded.
