How to fix it

  1. Unplug the dryer.
  2. Access the heater box (rear panel on electric models).
  3. Locate inlet thermistor on the heater housing and inspect connector.
  4. Reseat the connector; ohm out the sensor — should read in spec at room temperature.
  5. Replace thermistor if open.
  6. If sensor and wiring are good, replace main control board.
