How to fix it
- Unplug the dryer before any testing.
- Remove the rear panel (electric) or front toe panel and tip the drum to access the blower housing.
- Locate the exhaust thermistor (small 2-wire sensor on blower outlet).
- Inspect the connector and wires for damage; reseat the plug.
- Measure thermistor resistance at room temperature — should read ~50k ohms (10k–50k depending on model). Open circuit = replace.
