How to fix it

  1. Unplug the dryer.
  2. Remove the lower front panel and locate the outlet thermistor on the blower housing.
  3. Measure resistance — expect roughly 10K ohms at room temp. OL = replace.
  4. Reseat the connector and inspect the harness back to the control board.
  5. Reassemble and test Sensor Dry on a damp load.
  6. If E3 returns with a known-good thermistor and harness, replace the main control board.
