F01 — Main control board communication error

The main control board has detected an internal fault or lost communication with a critical subcircuit. Cycles will not start or will abort.

How to fix it

  1. Unplug the dryer for 10 minutes.
  2. Remove the console and inspect the main board for burn marks, swollen caps, or corrosion.
  3. Reseat every connector on the board.
  4. Restore power and try a cycle.
  5. If F01 returns, replace the main control board.
  6. Install a surge protector to prevent recurrence.
