GE Range/Oven F0 — Keypanel Problem

GE Oven · Error code F0

What F0 Means

F0 indicates a keypanel (touchpad) problem — a key is stuck or the keypanel is faulty. (GE also reports F6 for the same keypanel fault.)

Symptoms

  • Panel unresponsive or beeping
  • F0 on the display

Common Causes

1
Stuck key

A membrane key is physically stuck.

2
Failed keypanel/touchpad

The touch panel has failed.

3
Control board

Less commonly, the control reads the panel wrong.

How to Fix It

  1. Turn the range off at the breaker for 30 seconds to reset.
  2. Press each key to free any that stick; wipe the panel dry.
  3. If F0 persists, the keypanel (touchpad) needs replacement.
