F30 — Oven Temperature Sensor Circuit Open

F30 indicates the oven temperature sensor (RTD) circuit is OPEN (F31 is the shorted version). It is the oven temperature sensor, not the meat-probe jack. Check the sensor (~1100 ohms at room temperature) and its wiring/harness.

How to fix it

  1. Unplug the probe and verify F30 clears. If yes, replace the probe.
  2. If F30 persists with no probe plugged in, the jack or wiring is shorted — power down and inspect.
  3. Access the probe jack from the rear of the oven, check for corrosion or broken pins.
  4. Test continuity of the harness from jack to control board.
  5. Replace the jack or harness as needed; replace the control board if input circuit is dead.
