F01 — Main Control Board Failure

The main electronic control board (ACU) has detected an internal fault or lost communication with itself. Most often a board issue, occasionally a connection problem.

How to fix it

  1. Unplug the dryer for 5 minutes and restore power to attempt a reset.
  2. Pull the top panel and inspect the ACU for burn marks or loose connectors.
  3. Reseat all harnesses on the main control board.
  4. If F01 persists, replace the main control board (ACU).
