F22 — Exhaust Thermistor Fault

The control sees an exhaust temperature sensor (thermistor) reading out of range — open or shorted circuit. Drying will be inaccurate or aborted.

How to fix it

  1. Unplug the dryer.
  2. Locate the thermistor on the blower housing (rear).
  3. Disconnect and measure resistance — should be near 10kΩ at room temperature.
  4. If out of spec or open/shorted, replace the thermistor.
  5. Inspect harness for damage; reseat connector and restore power.
