How to fix it

  1. Unplug the dryer.
  2. Inspect the thermistor harness for pinch or chafe points.
  3. Measure thermistor resistance — replace if near 0Ω or open.
  4. Verify harness continuity from ACU to thermistor.
  5. Replace ACU if thermistor and wiring test good.
