E00 — Display PCB cannot read main PCB software
E00 indicates the display/sub board cannot communicate with the main control board to read its firmware. The dryer either will not boot past the splash screen or will not accept any input.

How to fix it
- Unplug the dryer for 5 minutes.
- Open the top/console and reseat the ribbon cable between the display board and the main board on both ends.
- Inspect both boards for burnt components, swollen capacitors, or surge damage.
- Plug back in. If E00 persists, the display board is usually the cheaper first replacement.
- If a new display board does not clear E00, replace the main control board.
- Add a quality surge protector strip rated for 240V appliances to prevent recurrence.
