How to fix it

  1. Unplug for 60 seconds, remove half the load, and retry.
  2. If LE1 returns, unplug and try to rotate the drum by hand — it should turn freely.
  3. Pull the dryer out, remove the top/front panels, and look for foreign objects at the front or rear of the drum.
  4. Inspect the drive belt, idler, and motor for binding.
