LE3 — Air circulation (blower) motor fault

LE3 indicates the air circulation / blower motor is not running at the expected speed. On heat-pump and hybrid models this is a separate motor from the drum drive motor; without airflow the cycle cannot proceed safely.

How to fix it

  1. Unplug the dryer for 60 seconds and retry.
  2. Pull the dryer out and remove the back panel to access the blower housing.
  3. Spin the blower wheel by hand — it should turn freely. Clear any lint buildup or debris.
  4. Test the blower motor windings against the service-manual spec and replace if open.
  5. Reseat the blower motor harness at the main board.
  6. Reassemble and verify airflow on a Timed Dry cycle.
