How to fix it
- Unplug the dryer and turn off the breaker before touching the terminal block.
- Remove the terminal cover on the back of the dryer and verify wiring matches the LG installation diagram for a 3-wire or 4-wire cord.
- With a multimeter, confirm the outlet reads ~240V between L1 and L2, ~120V from each hot to neutral.
- Re-tighten any loose lugs and confirm the neutral/ground jumper is correctly configured for your cord type.
- Restore power and verify PS clears; if it returns, have an electrician inspect the branch circuit.
