What F0E1 Means

The washer detected a load in the drum while the Clean Washer cycle was running. The Clean Washer routine must run empty to work correctly.

Symptoms

  • F0E1 displayed at start of Clean Washer cycle
  • Cycle pauses or will not start

Common Causes

Most common — Clean Washer must run with nothing in the drum.

Sensor reports residual water as load weight.

How to Fix It

  1. Open the lid/door and remove any clothing or items from the drum.
  2. Wipe out any standing water or heavy suds.
  3. Restart the Clean Washer with affresh cycle empty.
  4. If error returns with an empty drum, disconnect the pressure-sensor hose at the tub, blow it clear, and reseat.
  5. If still failing, replace the pressure sensor on the control board.
