F7E1 — Drive motor speed sensor fault

The motor control board cannot read motor RPM correctly, or the motor is not reaching commanded speed. Often a tachometer or motor-control issue.

How to fix it

  1. Unplug the washer.
  2. Remove anything in the drum, check pump filter for foreign objects.
  3. Spin the drum by hand — should rotate freely with light resistance.
  4. Access the motor; on belt models, inspect belt for wear or breakage.
  5. Inspect MCU and motor harness for burn marks or loose pins.
  6. Test motor windings with a multimeter against service-manual values.
  7. Replace MCU or motor as indicated; reassemble and run Diagnostics.
