uL — Unbalanced Load
uL ("unbalanced load") on Maytag Bravos/top-load washers means the drum could not balance for the final spin. Per Maytag's official page, the washer could NOT remedy the off-balance load through its own automated methods and needs manual intervention — you must redistribute the load yourself around the washplate; it does not auto-correct on its own.
