The robot detected a strong magnetic field (a virtual wall strip, or other magnet). It stops because it thinks it's at a boundary.

How to fix it

  1. Move the robot at least 3 feet away from any magnetic strip or magnet.
  2. Verify the dock is not placed near a magnetic boundary strip.
  3. Use virtual no-go zones in the app instead of physical magnetic strips on newer LDS models.
  4. Restart cleaning.

Typical signs: Voice prompt 'Strong magnetic field detected' · App shows Error 11 · Robot stops near appliance or strip

  • Magnetic boundary strip in path Roborock-brand or third-party magnetic strip is too close.
  • Strong magnet near robot Speaker, motor, or magnetic items on the floor.
  • Robot starts run on/over a magnetic strip Initial location is inside a boundary it can't escape.
