How to fix it

  1. Unplug the dock.
  2. Wipe the metal charging contacts on both the robot and the dock with a dry cloth, then a slightly damp cloth, then dry.
  3. Plug the dock into a known-good outlet.
  4. Verify the indicator light on the dock comes on.
  5. Manually place the robot on the dock, aligning the contacts.
  6. If charging still fails, swap the power adapter or have the battery tested.
