Error 23 — Dock locator beacon issue

The signal from the dock that guides the robot home is being received incorrectly — usually dock placement/blockage, sometimes a dock transmitter fault.

How to fix it

  1. Wipe the front of the dock with a dry cloth.
  2. Relocate the dock away from mirrors, glass, and direct sunlight.
  3. Give the dock 1.5 feet clearance on each side and 5 feet in front.
  4. Power-cycle the dock by unplugging it for 30 seconds.
  5. If the issue persists in a good location, the dock IR board has failed — replace the dock.
