How to fix it

  1. Flip the robot upside down.
  2. Wipe all sensor lenses on the underside with a dry microfiber cloth.
  3. Wipe any front-facing IR windows on the bumper.
  4. Test on a normal floor.
  5. Add no-go zones in app for problem rugs.

Why it happens

Typical signs: Voice prompt 'Please clean the sensor' · App shows Error 26 · Robot stops repeatedly in same area

  • Dirty cliff sensors Dust accumulation on underside lenses.
  • Reflective floor Highly polished floor confuses sensors.
  • Black or dark rug Sensor reads dark surface as a drop.
