What F8 E1 Means

The control board did not see enough water flow to fill the dispenser's measured fill reservoir. Usually points to a closed/missing water supply, a clogged filter, or low household pressure.

  3. Bypass test — pull the filter and install the bypass plug; if water flows, the filter was the problem.
  4. Check the supply line behind the fridge for kinks; straighten or replace as needed.
  5. If still failing, test water inlet valve solenoid for ~200Ω; replace if open or shorted.
