What F8 E2 Means

An issue in the dispenser water-handling area, typically the Measured Fill sensor or dispenser switch circuit, has failed to confirm a normal fill cycle.

How to Fix It

  1. Power-cycle the refrigerator for 5 minutes.

  3. Inspect the Measured Fill flow sensor on the water line and reseat its connector.
  4. If wiring is good and switches test correctly, replace the dispenser control board.
  5. Replace the main control board only if a new dispenser board does not clear the code.
