What Flashing F Means

A solitary flashing 'F' (without a number) means the control logged a fault but no specific F-code is currently displayed. A power reset clears soft faults; persistent ones will display a full F-code.

How to Fix It

  4. If 'F' returns, note the full code (F3 E1, F8 EC, etc.) and follow that code's procedure.
  5. If only a bare 'F' keeps coming back, schedule service — the board may need replacement.
