Sa — Sabbath Mode Active
Sabbath Mode is enabled. Interior lights, sounds, water filter status, and temperature adjustments are all disabled so doors can be opened without triggering controls. This is intentional, not a fault.

How to fix it
- Locate the Mode button on the user interface.
- Press and hold Mode for 3 seconds to exit Sabbath Mode.
- If your model does not have a Mode button, check the manual — some models use a different combo (e.g., 'Lock' + 'Filter').
- Confirm the interior light works when the door opens.
- As a last resort, unplug the fridge for 5 minutes — most models clear Sabbath on a hard reset.

Replace your water filter
A clogged or overdue water filter is a common cause of low water and ice flow on Whirlpool refrigerators — they are meant to be changed about every 6 months. The OEM-style filter that fits most Whirlpool refrigerators is the EDR1RXD1 ($40-50 OEM, $15-25 compatible).
