How to fix it

  1. Unplug for 10 minutes.
  2. Test the outlet with a multimeter — should read 114-126V steady; anything above 130V is a problem and you need an electrician.
  3. Plug the washer into a different known-good circuit and try the cycle.
  4. If the code returns on good power, replace the MCU.

Why it happens

Typical signs: F1 E2 right at Start or partway through wash · Recent voltage spike, generator use, or brownout in the house · Washer dead until power-cycled · Sometimes paired with F0E7
