F6E3 — No Communication ACU to MCU

The main control (ACU) can't talk to the motor control unit (MCU). The washer can't run the motor without this link.

How to fix it

  1. Unplug the washer.
  2. Reseat the communication harness at both the ACU and the MCU.
  3. Inspect the harness for damage; replace if questionable.
  4. If F6E3 persists, swap the MCU first (commonly fails).
  5. Still failing? Replace the ACU.

Why it happens

Typical signs: F6 E3 right when a wash phase starts · Motor never spins up · Sometimes appears after a board replacement (wrong cable connected) · Drum tries to start then stops
