How to fix it

  1. Unplug and spin the drum by hand — should turn freely.
  2. If it grinds or won't turn, pull the boot (front-load) or remove the basket (top-load) to find what's blocking it.
  3. Disconnect and ohm-test the motor windings against the tech-sheet spec.
  4. Inspect the motor harness for damage end to end.
  5. If motor is good and harness is good, replace the MCU.
