How to fix it

  1. Unplug washer for 5 minutes.
  2. Open the back panel and reseat the harness between ACU and MCU.
  3. Inspect the harness for damage along its full length.
  4. Verify line voltage to the MCU (typically 120 VAC).
  5. Swap the MCU first — it fails more often than the ACU.
  6. Replace the ACU if a known-good MCU doesn't clear the fault.
