How to fix it

  1. Unplug washer for 5 minutes and retry a small load.
  2. Remove laundry, redistribute, and run a Drain & Spin cycle.
  3. Tip the washer back and inspect the drive belt for cracks, glazing, or slippage.
  4. Check the motor connector and MCU connectors for burn marks or loose pins.
  5. Spin the basket by hand — it should turn freely with no grinding.
  6. Replace belt, motor, or MCU based on what fails inspection.
