How to fix it

  1. Unplug the unit and remove the rear freezer panel.
  2. Manually spin the fan blade and check for ice contact or stiffness.
  3. If iced, defrost manually and address root cause (clogged drain or failed defrost system).
  4. Check the fan harness connector at the motor and at the main board.
  5. Replace the evaporator fan motor if it is seized or electrically dead.
  6. Replace the control board only if the motor and wiring test good.
