How to fix it
- Unplug the unit for 5 minutes and power back up.
- Pull the toe-kick or rear access cover to inspect the main board ribbon cable; reseat both ends.
- On French-door models, inspect the hinge wiring channel for chafe or moisture.
- Swap the user interface board if reseating does not clear the fault.
- If a known-good UI does not clear it, replace the main control board.
