How to fix it

  1. Shut water and power off; remove the flow meter from the fill path.
  2. Flush the meter and check that the internal turbine spins freely.
  3. Reseat the harness connector at both ends.
  4. Replace the flow meter if it doesn't spin or doesn't pulse.
  5. If a known-good flow meter still throws iF1, replace the control board.
