Common Causes

Loose or damaged communication harness

Most common — between UI and EOC.

Outgoing comm circuit dead.

Incoming comm circuit dead.

How to Fix It

  1. Unplug the dryer.
  2. Open the top panel and reseat all connectors between UI and main control.
  3. Inspect the harness for damage or pinch points.
  4. Power up. If code persists, swap UI board first (most likely).
  5. If still failing, replace main control board.
