F97 — Cooling Fan Fault

F97 indicates a cooling-fan fault — the control detects the (lower) cooling/blower fan is not spinning or is running too slowly. Check the fan motor, blade, and wiring. It is not a microprocessor communication fault.

How to fix it

  1. Power down at the breaker for 5 minutes and restart. If F97 returns within a day, repair is required.
  2. Verify 240V at the oven and a solid neutral. Have an electrician check the panel if voltage sags.

  4. Replace the electronic oven control board if F97 keeps returning with good incoming power.
