How to fix it

  1. Unplug the unit and inspect the door hinge harness.
  2. Reseat the icemaker sensor connector.
  3. Ohm the sensor at room temp; replace if out of spec.
  4. Restore power and run the ice maker self-test.
  5. If still active, replace the in-door icemaker assembly.
